Facebook

My settings:

• My username is my real name.
• Other users who wants to add me will have to get my permission to do so but are allowed to look at my posts.
• I have blocked certain people to never receive any activity on Facebook from.

What my settings could be:

• My username can be a fake name
• I don't think i can change the fact that other users will need my permission to add me.

Instagram 

My settings:

• I am not linked to any other accounts Instagram offers to link to such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc.
• I am allowed to change my Username to anything I want that is not taken. At the moment its is "sirwonthanh"
• My phone number, gender, and email is given to Instagram but is not allowed for other to see.

What my settings could be:

• My Instagram account can be linked to my Facebook account along with my Tumblr. Which would copy the pictures I post on Instagram to my linked accounts along with the caption.
• My username could be changed to one without my name included.
• Other then my email I can change both my phone number and my gender to "not available".

Snapchat

My settings:

• My username is thanhptran along with my phone number and email given to Snapchat.
• I receive pictures only from my friends added.
• I share stories only to my friends added.

What my settings could be:

• My phone number is required for Snapchat but my email isn't. My username can be made without my real name.
• I can receive pictures from anyone if chose to.
• I can share stories with everyone if chose to.   

YouTube

My settings:

• Instead of my real name I have my nick name as a part of my username.
• I receive notification from other users who comments on the same thread I comment on.
• I receive videos from users who would like to spread their content through direct message.

What my settings could be:

• I can block all notifications from any or all activity on YouTube.
• I can block all messages from YouTube.

Overall I am feel fairly secure of my privacy settings. If anyone wanted to look me up just for the heck of it i wouldn't mind. My daily activity does not include anything shameful to my appearance to other, in any case i'm an open book. Although if wanted to my settings in privacy can be up a notch considering my current settings are pretty lose. All four of these accounts are have one thing in common which is visual media. They are all the same with the ground bases of allowing others to see what you post or allowing what you receive from others as well.
